This might come as a bit of a shock to a lot of you, but perhaps it's indicitave of my building music taste over the past decade--I actually didn't listen to a lot of new music this year (with a couple of notable exceptions).
Just like last year, I'll be covering my favourites in the realms of music, TV, books, sports -- but today I'll be leading off with some of my favorite films of the year. And I definitely made sure to see a few more this year than last.

Last week was my 24th birthday (hello mid-20s) and as a present to myself I decided to buy a couple of nice new clothes.
